Meet our newest Parish Councillor, Steve Cheshire

Steve Cheshire was co-opted onto Necton Parish Council in December 2014, following his application for one of the two vacancies on the Council.

Steve is currently Chief Executive at Norfolk Citizen’s Advice Bureau. He has been a senior manager in the not for profit sector for the last 20 years. He was previously the Fundraising Director at Leonard Cheshire Disability, the National Autistic Society and the Head of Fundraising Strategy at the British Red Cross.

Steve has significant experience of working with government at every level, and with key county and national stakeholders.
Steve has a family and has lived in Norfolk since 1999, moving to Necton in 2013. He is a regular cyclist and is an advocate for inclusion.

The Parish Council is delighted to welcome Steve into civic office.
