Necton remembers its brave men of both World Wars

Residents gathered at the war memorial in Necton village for a short service on Sunday, 8 November 2015. Revd Stephen Thorp led this service, acknowledging each of the men individually by name, their bravery and their loss of life in pursuit of protection of future lives.

Two minutes silence was observed, followed by laying of wreaths by Necton Brownies and Necton Parish Council.  Those present at the memorial then followed Revd Thorp into the church and joined the congregation for the full Remembrance Sunday service.
