This letter is to update Necton Parish Council of upcoming works which will take place from 31st January and 10th April 2023 at Dudgeon’s Necton substation Necton, Swaffham PE37 8EG. I kindly ask you to circulate this accordingly.
The works being carried out by our contractors Siemens Energy is on schedule, with main item of electrical plant being delivered to site 28th February 2023.
We have now been informed of a specialist process, to filter the insulating oil, which will need to operate continuously through the day & night, 7th March to 10th March 2023. The process is to pump oil through filters and is considered a low noise activity, however the personnel supervising the process will require area lighting.
We do not expect there to be issues for Necton. However, we are keen to keep you informed and should you experience any significant disruption associated with this programme please contact.
