Covid-19 update

CORONAVIRUS – (COVID-19) – communication
Parish Council Office Closed to Public face to face contact until further notice

Following government advice Necton Parish Council office will be closed to the public for face to face enquiries. Office staff will be working from home and available by email – [email protected] and telephone 01760 721665. Please leave a message on our answerphone and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We need to look after the well-being of our Council staff and our Councillors, so we have contingency plans for all eventualities, particularly for self-isolation. In terms of business continuity, for meetings and essential services there will be disruption, closures, postponements or cancellations. We will keep the public informed via the Council’s website but following last nights announcements everyone should be adhering to the ‘stay at home’ directive.

Things are evolving on a daily basis. Please check the NHS website for up to date guidance, for updates regarding symptoms and precautionary measures.
If you are feeling unwell, please use the NHS 111 helpline. There is also a good initiative shown locally with an ‘Emergency Group Necton and surrounding areas’ set up on Facebook and it would be good if all who have access to Facebook to join this group. There is also useful information and help on the Breckland Council website.
In these uncertain and changing times please keep up to date by checking the above websites or watch the official news on TV or via the radio.
