The Parish Council have received a copy of a new planning application for the development of 9 new dwellings on the site of the old garden centre.  This application will be considered by the Parish Council in their capacity as statutory consultee at their next full council meeting on 9 May.

You can view the application online via this link.

Paper copies are also available to view in the Parish Office.

  • Come to our Annual Parish Meeting, Thursday, 28 April 2016

This is an invitation to all residents of Necton.  Come along to your Annual Parish Meeting, an opportunity to raise issues of your concern, make suggestions for enhancing the quality of life in the village or simply to find out what is going on within the village groups and clubs.

Meeting starts at 7.30 pm at the Community Centre, with light refreshments from 7 pm.

    Agenda available here.

  • New Crime Map link on this website

We have just installed a new link on our homepage to the Police Crime Map for Swaffham.  You will find the link on the righthand side of the page, below links to Local Government websites.

Follow the link to bring you to an interactive map of the local area, which will list the recorded crimes and details of their progression.

Our Parish Council has a representative on the local Swaffham SNAP group, who meet regularly to discuss crime trends, hotspots and interventions in the area.  If you have any concern or matter you would like raised in this forum, please contact us.

If you have been a victim or witness of crime in our village, do contact the police on 101 for non-emergency matters or 999 for real time emergencies.  Reporting, even after the event on 101 is worth doing as it may help an on-going investigation or stop further crime.
